Heart - Airline On Autopilot

Heart is a "mission control" system. It helps airline with on-time performace, communication with passengers, decision making in Irregular Operations and more. The system is build of modules for Flight, Passenger, Irregular Operations, Claims, Turnaround and Hub control views.

The Heart was built to create an Airline on Autopilot. Employees of airlines should work on anomaly's and not the routine day to day tasks. Multiple modules where created to simplify communication with passengers, handle IRROPS, flight Overview, Hub Control, OTP tool and claims module to name a few. This system is tightly connected to the WOW air infrastructure.

US Passenger screening

A mobile APP and system that allows processing passengers traveling to the USA.

In 2018 a new mandate came into effect that all passengers traveling to the US would have to undergo a screening interview based on certain factors. This created a massive threat to using Iceland as a hub and called for a big change in turnaround times in Keflavík.

WOW labs built an app with passport and boarding pass scanning, which in the backend is integrated with the KABA gates in Keflavík, Check-in system (DCS) Inventory System (PSS) and custom built logic to meet the requirements of the mandate making this the only solution in the market that fully complies.

Mobile APP

Mobile app participates as a travel guide to the passengers and allows them to check-in, view their booking or add ancillary products.
